WHO WE ARE
Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya is a self-financed, all-girls, 100% free, Graduate and Post Graduate college, established by the inspiration and guidance of 5th Original Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. The institution is situated in Kunda, Pratapgarh, one of the most rural areas of Uttar Pradesh.
The college is affiliated to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, formerly known as Allahabad State University. Graduation courses offered by Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya are Bachelor of Arts (13 subjects), Bachelor of Science (Bio & Maths), Bachelor of Education, and Post Graduation courses offered are Masters of Arts (4 subjects).
The Emblem of Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya signifies Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, the patron of the Organisation. This emblem itself depicts the importance of education according to the Vedic scriptures.
"Sa Vidya Tanmatiriyaya" is a verse from the Holy Hindu Scriptures - ‘Bhagwat’. It is the 49th verse, of the 29th chapter, of the 4th part of the Bhagwat. It asserts that true education aims to instill affection for God, emphasizing the need for a balance between material progress and spiritual development for inner peace.

OUR STORY
Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in 1998 as a self-financed, all-girls institute, it has grown into one of the most esteemed educational institutions in Pratapgarh. Starting with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program, the college expanded its offerings over the years, adding B.Ed., B.Sc., and M.A. courses. In 2010, under the divine resolution of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the institute began providing 100% free education, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder a girl’s right to education.
The college has undergone three transformative phases, focusing on infrastructure development, academic excellence, and student empowerment. With state-of-the-art facilities, modern teaching techniques, and an unwavering commitment to student success, the institution has consistently produced university toppers and achievers in various fields.
